787b at Laguna Open Challenge

Hi everyone, if you have some spare time and feel like running some laps at everyone's favorite track Laguna Seca, hop in your 787B at give it a run. Tune your 787B any way you like, but NO HYBRIDS!!! Let' see how close to (or under )a minute we can get.

Normal rules apply :
I.E. NO CORNER CUTTING, TWO WHEELS ON THE TRACK AT ALL TIMES!

If this challenge gains some interest, I will post a leaderboard after I get a few submissions. Share your settings if you like to help out other drivers...and post your replays if you can so others can see your handywork!

There is no deadline for this event and the results will be updated until the thread dies out.

I went to GT3Times.com Lap Records and selected Laguna Seca, MR, 1 through 100 ranks, Mazda 1991 787B. The best time was 1:01.939 with a 964HP car. I bet I can't break 1:15 (: But I'll give it a try tonight.

Well, so far I have managed a 1:03.705.
I don't have my PS2 on right now, so I'll post some setts later if anyone cares.

yea my best with the 787b tuned with the stage 1 turbo to 930 hp or 940hp was 1:16.375

Got some good midfield set up's somewhere not sure on laguna ...but hey I edited myself a 787 I just have to check I done it right and I might just give this a shot later and see what I can do

Wow, that's a blast from the past. I'll run this one this weekend as well, but I'm actually excited about the WRS this week so I'll be spending most of my GT3 time working on that.

I might try later, with the GTOne Road car i have a 1"04.107 there, maybe i get some seconds faster using the 787B. Hope to get down to the 1 minute house, but i dunno if it´s possible.

I got a 1:02.7 I am 3rd on the list at GT3times...i cannot see any way to even get a low 1:01 . A 1:01.9 is amazing as is!!
