Just want to try something to see if it works, I think it should work but not sure.

I want to trade my GTR500 Stealth & SLS Stealth for a 787B Stealth & McLaren F1 Stealth.

We can do this by emailing each others game save and creating a new user on our PS3 and loading the sent game save. This will then add the cars to our garage. You would get my Stealth cars and I would get yours. Then we save the game and email it back to each other.

PM me if interested in trying it.
 
Wont work mate each game save only works for the game it came from.
 
Are you sure? Surely this can't be the case, what happens if your Playstation breaks and you have to get a new one? If we couldn't load our game save onto the new one we'd have to play all those hours again! Don't think people would be happy doing that.
 
It wont work unless you are given all the login details from the third party and im sure they aint going to that.

Don't see why we would need to log in to PSN, we would simply be creating a new user, loading the game save, booting the game up without logging in tp PSN and then saving it again with the Stealth cars added.
 
Right you obviously wont take my word so do a search theres loads on here about this but you wont get anywhere because it will only be sent to the psn account that logged the codes with sony.

No need to get shirty pal, I just wanted to know if it could be done. I have done a search and read posts regarding it but they were inconclusive. Just looking for a definitive answer.

!!!! No, I asked and he told me it couldn't be done saying they only work for the game it came from. Wrong. When I create a new user on my PS3 with a new PSN when I load GT5 it gives me the two stealth cars. Different user, different PSN login. I don't have to supply login details for any other account.

As I said, nobody has given me a definitive answer as to why it can't be done. I believe it can be done, have seen threads on this and other sites saying the same. I just need to know how to do it.

When you log in to your PSN, the system knows your unique PS3 ID (every PS3 has one). This is a) how PD know if your PS3 has already sent 1 car in 24 hours and how 2) if you have stealth codes from your packaging, PD knows to gift those same stealth cars to your other PSN ID's which play GT5. Don't confuse the two.

YOU can use YOUR stealth cars on different PSN ID's because PD know it's YOUR PS3 using them. Another PS3 cannot use them and the same goes for you trying to use the game-save file from another PS3.

Just so you know. Stealth cars isn't saved in the game save file. It is saved in the 7GB game data file. And as mentioned before, the only way to trade stealth cars (when the code has been used) is to share login info, which can get you banned if Sony detects it.

That is the reason why all profiles on the same PS3 gets the stealth cars, becouse it reads from the gamadata file. which version(ex 1.07) of the gagme it is, which DLC cars you have etc.

doesnt work man
i got stealth cars and i tried it at my dads house on my bros ps3 with my same user name and USB and i had my X1 but no stealth ..
