7th, but finished 1st?

So, I seem to be having an issue lately in GT5 (since the last update), where if I finish in first, I somehow only get 7th place, both exp and money and the race results indicate so.

What the heck?

GT has always been frustrating but this is kind of low :( Any ideas?
 
Were you playing the game for so long that day? A hot PS3 may be prone to unusual glitches.
 
Are you sure the prize money is wrong? A lot of times the post-race screen indicates the starting lineup and not the race results. I remember coming back after doing the 9hr endurance in B-Spec and wondering how my absurdly overpowered car lost...

If you don't see the race results right away the screen always shows the starting grid. You always always start 7th and this could be what your seeing.
 
Nope, I definitely placed 7th, because I got no prize at all! Anyways, it seems to have subsided. I do tend to leave my ps3 on for a few days at a time, and it did get a break earlier today for a few hours, so that could have been it I guess :shrug: at least its gone now.
