I've been loading the first few B license tests to refresh the used car list, check for the formula gt, go refresh the list again, etc.

After 8 hours non stop doing this still haven't found it. How long did it take you?

This is how we got it with my friends game, but man i got some bad luck lol

Seen the ford gt40 race car come up 4 times already...

About 1 hour.

I was happy when I got it, however I've still yet to complete the FGT championship. I'ts pretty hard.

It took me much longer. I checked every 4 or 5 races as for several days as well as loading up the license tests. I was very relieved when it finally showed up. Fun to drive I must say.

Took me a little over an hour, skipping through 5 licences, then checking. Won every FGT race except Suzuka. Make sure you do the engine and chassis refresh when you get it. It makes a big difference. I also put on chassis stiffening bar.

thats what i do is load 5 license tests then go check. ive seen this method work pretty quickly before. i guess the gt5 gods are punishing me today

i kept going in to the dream car event on the indy circuit 5 times. After every check of the used car dealership took me 2 hours ruffly...

Now a proud owned of a FGT

NO. All you need to do is an oil change. Do JUST the oil change first. If your power goes to 935 hp, then you DO NOT need an engine rebuild. 935 hp is the max before you break in the car. I think mine hit 939 hp after several races and another oil change.

I also did the chassis restore and I think it made no difference at all. I would not get it if I were you.

You poor bugger, that's harsh. Look on the bright side, it's got to show up soon. From a statistical point of view, it has to, not that I know how the UCD works.

Just shows that the used car dealer thing is just nonsense since you can bypass it by "grinding" time and find whatever car you need "whenever" you want.

Mine only got up to about 918Hp before I did the engine restore, and my handling was unstable, much better after restore. Maybe it depends how many Kms your car has on it when you get it. Definitely helped mine, no doubt about it.

For example, I won the championship without doing the restore, but I could only place 2nd at Monaco, after the restore I won without a problem.

It's not nonsense, we're just exploiting loopholes in the design of the game. I think the system is great. If we use it like it's intended, the cars become much more rare and should be worth more to us. As it is, we exploit them and they lose their inherent value. It's our fault, not theirs for failing to outwit people who constantly cheat and fill find any exploit available. The choice is up to the individual and what they want to get or not get out of the game.

i decided early on that i wanted the f2007, f10 and fgt, and this is the last of the three that I need so i guess the game is gonna make me earn it...

Yeah, I'm not sure it's the same for everyone, which is why I suggest doing it in the order of:

1. Definite oil change. If you get 935 hp out of it, NO engine rebuild. Otherwise, you need to spend the cash to max out the power.

2. See how the car behaves before dishing out for the chassis restore. Definitely spend the 20,000 creds for the rigidity improvement.

I dunno, maybe mine was fishy at the beginning, but I attributed that to my inexperience with the car. Maybe it did help, or maybe I just got used to how it drives. I honestly can't say atht this point, other than that 500,000 cr. is a lot.

i found the formulaGT when i was searching for a saleen s7 wich took me 8days ><

so 8 hours is not so much :p

be patient it will show up sometime ;)

I traded some guy my X1 for his FGT because i had two X1's.

For what it worth: in order to build my site car database, i've keep track of 2604 Used Cars entries yet (not always consecutively). The Formula Gran Turismo appears only one time. That means it has been available in Used Cars during 5 of the 434 considered days.

I've probably been looking for it for 6-8 hours. I don't care too much; I've got 8.6 million and when I hit the 10 mil mark I'll get that multimillionaire trophy. Then I'll keep saving and just keep 5 million around in case the GT shows up, while buying some other supercars I've had my eye on. Like that Citreon race car.

You can win the citreon race car from the dream car championship in bspec.
I got the FGT on a "hrm I'll check the used lot" idea and I actually wanted the Escudo but I was short 400k after buying the FGT :(

My 908 pulls better lap times on Indy than the FGT.
