I'm not really one for celebrating the amount of posts I have on a forum, or as I see it, time spent here when I probably could have been making money, watching a flick, playing GT or spending time with my understanding wife!
But 1000 posts came and went. 2000, 3k, 4k...and finally I arrived at this very insignificant number which I though was worth celebrating.
"Why?" you ask yourself! Well let me put it another way:
9,325 posts over a few months shy of 2 years puts me at ~16 posts per day.
9,325 when entered into Yahoo!'s image search brings up a nice young lady in a lovely dress.
If all 9,325 posts took roughly 2 minutes (let's say) I'd have spent 310 ten hour making posts. That's 12 days of nothing but typing.
In those 9,325 posts I've been through 2 bouts of depression and battled alcoholism unsuccessful.
In 2002, cardiovascular disease (CVD) caused 9,325 deaths.
I have 39 people who have sent a request to be my friend in that amount of posts. Some who I don't know, others who I regard as real friends that I would buy a beer for was I ever to meet them.
This is Hotel Triund View. This beautiful place is exactly 9,325ft above sea level.

I'm aware this thread is rather unusual but seeing as I didn't announce/ celebrate any other milestone post mark, nor will I until maybe 16,428, I feel this could my way of saying thanks to GTP for all the lost time, most of which was enjoyable, which I'll never get back.
