900 in LFS, 180 at DFP...

Well I recently bought a DFP. I decided to play LFS with it. I downloaded the LFS demo, and had a realllly hard time figuring out how to make it 900 degree at both the DFP and in the game. I could only figure out how to make it 900 in game, but 180 at the wheel , which sucks.

Anyone have any ideas?

Also, I cant seem to be able to buy the full version of LFS anywhere, can anyone direct me?

To switch to DFP 900 press and hold SELECT+R3+RIGHT PADDLE, you will hear the catch come out of place adn the right LED will switch on.

I dont play LFS but i imagine it is buyable from liveforspeed.com
 
you need logitechs latest wingman software to set the wheel up properly.
 
took me like 30 minutes of messing around with LFS config to get it right -_-
 
I just got it, it's awsome but I still have to figure out:
-The confusing menu's in general.
-getting my DFP perfectly stable (center of the wheel is the center ingame:crazy: )
-How to get an FR car and get drifting:D
-Wingman:odd:
 
Settings of a car.....selecting skins downloaded from the net. And I got the dutch version installed wich was my fault so all of a sudden all kinds of names in the menu are changed to dutch. And it's a poor translation lol, but thats my mistake;)
 
hehe, if its a poor translation i'm sure the devs would apreciate your input on how to improve it. :) seriously they would

did it work 900 degree in game ????i cant find any drivers for dfp....:nervous:
 
how do you get the G25 to 900 mode? I managed toi it easily with my dfp but...
 
do you have logitech profiler? did you go in there and set it to 900 degrees?

The G25 comes with the Wingman software. Install it first.
 
okies, I got my throttle and all settled finally, but there's one problem: gears. I can get 1st gear on, but then it tosses neutral, and there's no way I could put the rest of gears on. seems to be that LFS is meant to be played with proper H-pattern shifter, not with sequantial one like DFP has. solutions? ( though, I'm gonna buy G25 soon..)
 
Hey guys, quick question, do I NEED a wheel to play this game? Or does a controller work?

you dont need a wheel, but its highly reccomended. you can play with a mouse if you really wanted to...

Go to controls and change gears from shifter to sequential:)
 
yah, got that solved. what a fuss just for gears and steering.. :indiff:
 
lol pretty much. Even the GTR1 demo from 2004 recognises( somehow) that its a G25 pluged in and prompts you to change to the preset settings made for it so you don't have to touch a thing lol. They must've helped logitech make it if they new about it in 04 lol
