Okay, the rubber wheel rim base of the 911 Carrera is starting to hurt my fingers and giving me blisters for some apparent reason. So what I was thinking was covering it with some sort of non-rubber material around the entire wheel rim.

Any suggestions?

Also I am not willing to buy a new wheel just because of this problem because I like this wheel very much. Sure its not a Fanatec 911 GT3 RS V2/GT2 level but this wheel gets the job done for me very well.

No suggestions? I could've sworn there was a user here who covered the wheel rim of his CSR wheel with tape that is used for tennis rackets... Which is what I am looking to do as well.

Thanks guys 👍

Also thanks for the glove recommendation. But it is kind of a hassle to keep on removing them since I use a keyboard for the PC, and a qwerty keyboard for my PS3.

I never remove the gloves, they are super thin and you can do anything with them on, even using the smartphone ;)

My CSR is suffering the alacantra loose syndrome so I decided to look at options myself and went to Sports Direct and picked up some great racket tape/grip and it's transformed the wheel for me. I did the whole top section and the lower sections so that I wrapped the edges of the alacantra so they cant come out further.
There were different types to choose so I went for a nice cushioned one with air holes. Aside from covering the horrible plastic join in the rim (CSR) it is much thicker to hold now and just gives a great new feel to it :)

Do you have photos?

I used 2 rolls for the top section and one covered the bottom 2 sections :)
I spent an evening on rFactor tonight and the feedback on that is monsterous and the add grip was more than welcome :)
