Just saw this on my FB feed, this is the lowest mile 1969 Boss 429 Mustang in existence, and it's up for auction. Analysts expect anywhere from around $350,000 for this one. The model has previously gone for $375,000 in previous auctions in pristine condition, so we shall see. 859 Boss 429's were hand built by Kar-Kraft in 1969 making it one of the rarest Mustangs out there.

RM Auctions will be auctioning off this Mustang on April 27th. Can't wait. Hopefully the buyer doesn't destroy it.

The guy who rebuild my transmission shoved one of those in the shredder.
He still has the engine though.

Might want to hold onto that haha. Must be he didn't know what he had XD

If I bought it, I'd actually drive it. It makes me sad to see such an awesome car with so few miles. Think of the enjoyment you could get every time you took this car out for a drive.

I'd love to drive the piss out of it but honestly I'd be reallyscared of some asshoile crashing into me and wrecking it. The paranoia would either result in my not driving it or not enjoying it.

Just like a very low mile 930, I'd buy something like this solely for the experience of knowing how this car felt when knew, and ten just keep on driving it until it dies many years later. This kind of car, for me, is one you keep and drive, not worrying about value

Price expectations are low. I'll bet it'll go for more, maybe for way more.

And white, got dammit

Went for $286,000, much cheaper than the last one that went for $375,000 and that had many many many more miles on it. Should not have been let go that cheap.

Reserve should have been at least $300k. As the only mustang I care for, it saddens me to see it go for cheap. I think one should be kept at a Ford museum. A low mile example like that one would be a perfect candidate.

Something I've noticed about 70's muscle cars is this. The Ford Falcon XY GT, look it up if you don't know what it is. Only a few thousand made. and before the Financial Crisis a really good one would have been worth nearly $1,000,000. But 2009, it dropped to $330,000.

Is this from a museum or private collection? I'm interested to see where the money goes.
