Porsche 9ff GT9: Blasting the Bugatti Veyron and Ultimate Aero TT.

The Porsche 9ff GT9 revealed the fastest car in the world.

The front end is borrowed from a 911 GT3, while the rest of the chassis is unique, and has been constructed with durable, lightweight carbon fiber and Kevlar (the material used in bulletproof vests). With its low roof, the car is only 1.18 meters tall, while an extreme body kit practically scrapes the road surface. Both features are crucial to help achieve top speed of 254 mph - one mph higher than a Veyron!

Under the hood, the engine is 4.2 l biturbo, which happens to be able to reach only 1002 horses from the 996-generation Porsche 911 Turbo. Reworked turbos, dry sump lubrication and a gold-finished induction plate boost power to 973bhp and torque of 964Nm. And as the car weighs only 1.326 kg, it should cover 0 to 100 Km / h in 3.4 seconds. It takes 15.8 seconds for the GT9 reach 300 km / h.

With only 20 examples sold at almost £ 1.3 million.
