As some of you have noticed, the time required to get a gold on A-3 has been lowered to 1:12.5 due to the increased tire grip.

It's my last gold to achieve -- and I'm dying to find a video of it being done... however, I can only find videos of the old time requirement of 1:13.0

Can anyone help me out? So frustrating...
 
I can do a video if you like. I remember A-3 with the old physics and grip level, I had to keep a tight line. I've just done this now to see and there was no real line to take to get under the time, just had to flick the car around the spoon curve after the tunnel and get good exit speed out of the esses before the hill at the end.

Are you on Standard physics? Doing this on Pro is a big ask. Also are you using a wheel?
What car view on the video do you want, also what mph or kmh, driving line on or off, wheel or joypad.
 
ähm... one question.
can it be that my old gold medal is now a silver one, because i only had a 1.12,9? :scared:

now i have to do it again, and i am really sure it was gold :yuck:
 
okay, here´s the replay of A3 Mission i just did.
tried pro physics first but could only get a 1.13,7 so far (the online arcarde record is a 1.12,7 with S/M)
so i would say its impossible with pro pysics.:scared:

then i tried standard and got a 1.11,789 in second lap.

put it on a usb stick, folder "PS3" -> folder "SAVEDATA" -> unzip it there 👍

Madforce, Do you know if it's possible to view your replay with the NA NTSC version? I copied it to my PS3 fine and it shows up in the save data but GT5p doesn't recognize it. I would love to be able to use your ghost to help finally gold this! Thanks.

I couldn't get the replay to work either, let alone even show up :( -- Thanks anyway though!!

I ended up getting a time of 1:11.795 --- I think most of the gap had to do with completely ramming the wall at the last hairpin. Cheap, but I was way too frustrated after spending hours on it.
 
Managed a 1.12.40x on my second run.. Some wall bumping (nothing super) and some slipstreaming. I can manage low 1.13's clean. Anyone need replays?
