Ok, so this whole time I thought the ignore list was just for private messages. I had no idea it would hide posts in threads. What a beautiful thing!

Next up, is there a way to hide threads, or threads by users, or even whole forums? My goodness, I'd be as happy as a puppy with two peters (quoted from City Slickers).

I'm going to spend the next 20 minutes building my ignore list (:

No, there's not any way to do that.

Josh, no need to worry about LoudMusic ignoring you - users cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

the ignore list is faulty since you can still view the posts if you want to, if i ignore a member it means i don't want to see them. i tried ignoring someone once and i just kept clicking the view post button.

Wouldn't that be more of a feature than a fault?
 
if i ignore someone i don't want to see their name, let alone a button that says "this user is on your ignore list view post"... the ignore list should remove all posts from your view completely.
 
chevette: The problem is that if you don't see someone's posts altogether then you may end up posting the same information as the people you're ignoring.
 
This way, at least you can be held accountable...:D

Well, it's not like you're reading their posts - you at least have the option. I think the current set-up (not that I use it) is ideal.
