A beginners/low skill level only series?

Any interest in this? It could be spec cars, people that are new or just aren't crazy good at the game but would still like to get involved in a series. Personally I'm a big Mustang/muscle car fan, but I'm open to any and all suggestions.

The cars could be cheap, mods kept simple and cheap etc all to a spec we agree on, and then we run a weekly race series. No one allowed to intentionally bump/spin etc, but going on the honor system here.

Any ideas anyone? Anyone interested in trying this?

I really, REALLY want to get into a weekly series like I used to back in FM2 and it's a blast, but I'm afraid I'm just not good enough to jump into some of these high horsepower more established series.

Let me know, bounce some ideas off each other whatever, maybe we can get some good clean racing in for the average joe 👍
 
Looks like you just founded the Joe Average Whiteknuckle Series. JAWS- how you like that!
 
I'm interested. A couple of us always race Friday nights (Pacific Time) and are looking for a series.

I can guarantee myself plus one other. We try to race clean, but we do make mistakes sometimes.

We normally race from about 9:30 pm pacific until about 2 am.

I like the op idea of cheap, light on the mods.

I got a tip for you..

You should join WSGTC 3, it's kicking off in the beginning of Januari.

Races will be held Fridays, no time yet decided.

It's a mix class series. So if you'd like to race lower HP cars, the GT300 class is extremely fun. Just be on the lookout for GT500's in your rear views. ;)

The Championship is open to all.
The best way to get in to some weekly racing is to just join a series.. It's not like all series here demand a sertain skill level or what you'd like to call it.
What the admins do demand is a good participation level and commitment. And respectful driving. As long as those criterias are filled, you won't have any troubble.

Oh, and one more thing. If your a lower skilled driver, you have to make an effort to not crash in to someone obviously.

So here's a few minor tips:
1. Make sure you got a good internet connection. (Drivers that lag are dangerous and are bound to create an incident)

2. My best tip to make sure your situational awereness is on top is to use bumper cam, cause it provides you with that big rear view in the top of your screen. And as an addition to that, scale your map down to "2" or similar. It will work as a "radar" sort of, and you can see what goes on around you by just looking at the map. Tis does require that you know the track though.
