Call me old and call me stupid, but by accident I noticed that you can move your point of focus, (or is it really because I’m older)
While busy with getting some in depth pictures I was always moing the camera like in real life.
Zoom in/move the centre of the camera, to where you want your focus, or focus area and press square.
Then zoom out, move the camera to the correct position and eventually take the picture.
But there is nice feature. Make your camera setup, keep square pressed and you can move your point of focus to anywhere in the frame.
This is so much easier for taking in depth pictures. Focus to a detail in the back so the front of the picture fades a bit.
Once again, maybe that I missed it because of age, but i didn’t come accross pictures that seem to be using this feature..
