which camera view would the judges prefer?...there are four options in the replay options....the first one or the last one?
The first is a picture of one car, the last is a picture of a road.
 
I am a head judge because i made it lol... actually all hte ppl on hte judging lanel will be head judges... we are going to rotate...

ok so before i make the thread... we have the following rules

slvia spec r in class a arcade on drift mode on trial mountain...
Speed - 10 points
Control (line and smooth exit/entrance) - 10 points
Time-10 points
style-5 points
The video must include steering wheel... speedometer... and T times (you know the orange times and stuff)...
from the analysis... sector times... avg speed... and speed must be submitted for every sector... lap time must be visible in video as well as t times...
 
The line one ( the one iwth the road) is good... just pic one where the car is never hidden behind the walls... make sure we can always see it...
 
silvia spec is a B class car.... we still have a agree on a car.
 
This sort of sounds like the drift vs grip challenge, bengee ;)
 
I'm happy with the rx7. Lets just use that. When is the deadline?
 
I don't need much time to get a video timelimit 30 mins to produce a video thats cool with me.
 
alright then, I only have time on the weekend so i can have it done by the end of this weekend.

ok how am i suppose to get the sector times? is this necessary?
 
You can get the sector times through the Analyzer.

bengee, I don't think it's possible to have sector times in the replays. They only post the T' times.

edit - same with the entrance speed and the exit speed.
 
ok forget it then...just submit replays.... speed will be determined by eye...and t times i guess... if its the same car t times and lap times will be good enough...
 
Ok i'm actually finished with my video.
I used the RX7 , drift, manual transmission, logitech driving force wheel.
Time: xxxx.. only the judges will know first.
Were to upload?
 
Either to pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP. Make sure you have a FTP client software to access the FTPs :)

Maybe I'll produce two vidoes then....one that shows a bit more exhibition style because I'm some what ambigous of this whole racing drift style. :)

racing drift can mean many things... but the way it will be judged smoke angle and control are the most important ascpects... line taking will imporve your imte and help you out int he points department...
