A computer version of Gran Turismo

[Classic Anycar]

I was thinking of having a Gran Turismo for the PC. That way, it'd be easy to download cars. You could purchase expansion packs for it.

For example, say the game itself has simply the current lineup for all major companies.

EXPANSION PACKS

American Muscle- All muscle cars built between 1964 and 1973.
Racecars- Current racecars, and also production equivalents if addition is necessary
Vintage Sports- Sports cars from the 40s and 50s.
Classic Sports- Sports cars from the 60s and 70s
Retro Sports- Sports cars from the 80s and 90s
4X4- Vehicles meant to go offroad, also adds dirt tracks
Vans- Minivans, fullsize, etc
Sport Trucks- Xtreme, Lightning, etc
Historic Racing- Trans Am, Can Am, & Grand National racecars, and also their production equivalents if necessary
Prewar- Vehicles built before 1940
Open Wheel- Formula One, Indy, etc
Historic Open Wheel- Historic Formula One, Indy, etc
Muscle Trucks- El Camino, Ranchero, etc
Dragstrip- Top fuel, funny car, etc, also adds dragstrips
Bonneville- Adds salt flat racers and the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats
Monsters- Adds monster trucks and arenas
NASCAR- Adds 90s-present NASCAR vehicles, and their stock equivalents if necessary, includes Craftsman Truck Series
Classic Winston Cup- Adds 70s & 80s Winston Cup cars and stock equivalents

As cool as a GT-style game for the PC would be, I think I'd rather see a GT-style arcade game, with a card system and everything.

Probably the closest is RFactor, though not all the mods have cars that cost money and can be modded.
