A connection to the server could not be established??

I updated last night to 1.03, played fine all day. Just got in from work, and the game loads but freezes on the GT 5 logo screen and does nothing. Any ideas??

It eventually came up with message that said "a connection to the server could not be established." That is on their end, right? not mine? anyone getting longer then normal load times from the GT5 logo screen tonight??

Log out of PSN. Sometimes there's problems with the server connection and it hangs at the loading screen until you log out.

I had problems staying connected last night. Got disconnected about 5 times from the same private lobby. Not sure wether it was my internet or a problem with the PSN.

hmm I am hoping its something on their end and no my 60gb fat PS3 going down the tubes. I have put in too much time to lose everything now! although now it seems to be working better, so I will chalk it up to something else for now.

I've fired up gt5 almost every day (sometimes 2 or 3 times a day) since it was released and it has never been able to connect to the server once.

Just switch the router off then turn it back on. That's how I managed to sort that problem out.

same here. But i was able to get all 3 patches. Everytime my ps3 logs in psn. I was playing Prologue online as well. Couple of times RDR

But never connected to GT5 servers.

had the same issues again last night also been getting the 80710B23 error code. going to get the network cable out tonight and see if that fixes it
