hello. i have a few questions about gt3. your help is appreciated.

1) what is the easiest way to get a R390 RACE car, not road car, and if so just how bad is it?

2) about how long does it take to complete the formula gt championship? (i dont want to spend days on it until i have the time)

3) how long does it take to complete the toyko endurance race?

4) why the hell does the 787b only have 5 gears?!?!?! i know its a rotary engine but why? WHY WHY WHY? (still coo' tho)

i just got my s-license this morning!!!. so happy    :D :D :D
787b = great fun to KILL other cars with..

To quickly divert any other questions you may have: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-5316.html

1. There is a prize car guide on this site - https://www.gtplanet.net/article16.html. The only way to win it is at the Professional GT All Stars. Save the game after your ninth race then reload until you wiin the R390. Commonly known as the "Save/Reload Trick"

2. Each race takes roughly 30-50 minutes, with the exception of the last race which is a full 1hr 30 enduro (78 laps at Cote). So that's about 4.5 hours, not including qualifying laps.

3. Depends how good you are. Budget for over 2 hours in an F1 car. Some times.

4. Because it does. It's a real car - won the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Welcome to GTP.

ah. so thats the way it has to be. well, thats what i expected, and eventually i am going to have to do that championship, so oh well. another question crossed my mind: what is the best f1 car? i know that they are all very close, but i still think there is a difference (i have the f090/s and the f687/s, and i average about 1 second better times with the f090/s because it turns a little bit better.)

I believe F094/s is hte best F1 car from what I've read....that's was the F1 that i used for the F1 championships

There's a thread knocking about called "Majarvis's F1 Performance Guide". As a PALer, I only get two F1 cars, and it's obvious which is the best and which isn't...

As far as I know, the NTSC order is:
F094/S (same as PAL Polyphony 001)
F686/M (quicker on Test Course than F094/S)
F094/H
F090/S
F688/S (same as PAL Polyphony 002)
F687/S

thanks for all your help guys. very nice response time, i might add! checked back after i wrote in in an hour, and Famine had already responded. :p

also, is there ANY way to play GT Concept on the NTSC system???

one more thing... can you do the "like the wind" race and receive another 787b from doing that?

hehe, one more thing again... does anyone know what song is on AE86driver's GT3 Tribute music video? i gotta have that song... its driving me crazy!!! SO GOOD!!! here's the link: https://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/photos/gt3_video/gt3_tribute.wmv

In order...

Yes - mod chip or flip-top. Yes - but only the one, you can't do it again. You can also get a 787B for 75% completion. No.

It's kind of long-winded. But there's a few ways to make your PS2 read other regions' disks. Most involve quite a bit of money changing hands and screwing your warranty.

Search around for "Swap Magic" - they might help you out.

ok, well i'll just wait a while. or maybe not. i don't know. but thanks famine, you've been a great help. and everyone else. thanks so much! :D
