Well, yesterday was fun. I woke up from some huge bang I heard that shook my house so bad I thought there was an earthquake. Stumbling downstairs and looking out my kitchen window I noticed that there is a dumptruck sinking in my barkyard. Since nothing unusual seemd to be happening (I was still too asleep to realise what the hell had happened) I took a shower, brushed my teeth, looked out the window again...and realised holy crap...theres a dumptruck sinking in my back yard!
Apparently the guy digging my pool went a few feet too close to an old septic tank (no longer in use) and it couldnt hold a massive dumptruck filled to the top with gravel. The dumptruck fell down about 3-4 ft down into a big hole..it was awsome. I went outside to check out the damage while my mom is freaking out trying to call my dad at work.. I got some cool pictures
the owner of the buisness agreed to take care of it and that it was his fault, so there was no big problem there, but he asked me to print out a picture of the truck for him so he can prove to his wife "what a sh***y day he had at work today"
I printed him this one
^good stuff, right?
The truck had no real damage done to it, my drive way was pretty messed up, there was only one chunk from where the truck fell, but on the other side the axle left a huge divit, and we tried to stand the truck up on cinder blocks, which left big square impressions too. We were going to get the driveway re paved anyway since I'll be getting a car soon and we need another space
The house and the yard look like crap due to all the construction going on lately, sorry about that
