With this post Kuo (of Kuosion.net ), and Choe (of....uhh, stuff) will be establishing thier reputations as True Drifters.

Just kidding...

But here's the real story, a few friends and I decided to go do some FF drifting in our non-drift cars, a 98 Buick Century FF, and a 97 Honda Accord FF--both Auto tranny and neither are modded at all. The Buick has been in a wreck nearly totalling it and the Accord is used.

After spending too much time trying to figure out how to use Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, I put together this video documenting our TRUE DRIFTing experiences.

I filmed, in the passenger seat (sorry for the shaky-cam issues).
Choe - 98 Buick Century FF - This car doesn't even has a real e-brake, just a floor parking brake (which he uses anyways)
Kuo - 97 Honda Accord FF

Drift On... :sly:

Wrong forum, please move it.
This people what brings Drifting becoming banned, I know its a rush but keep it at a Safe and controlled enviroment at least a Track

From that statement, can I safely assume that the footage in this video wasn't taken from a track? (I can't check it myself, since I'm on dial-up.)

Nope, definatly not on a track, it was next to a highschool football field in a large parking lot.

~TankSpanker to go baack into highschool flashbacks~

I swear that could have just as easily been a filming of my friends and I from 3 or 4 years ago. Oh, except we had ice.

I wouldnt condone going out and doing the same thing however. And something about the language used could have been mentioned. It didnt offend me, but it could easily offend others.

Waste of time...Couldn't even see anything half the time... and BTW... Was it a "Public Car Park" ?

Also, swear level is off the roof! Not suitable...

THIS JUST IN...

Rain and snow showers have been predicted for next tuesday -- MEANING -- Episode II of True Drifting (if it snows).

AND>>>More snow appx. a week from now.

W00T!

With the cars we're using it almost impossible to drift (err...it's actually just a powerslide, but for now we'll pretend ^_^)...so we're limited to doing this in certain conditions (ie snow/rain/oil spill/KY Jelly tanker wreck).

Signing out,

</Vinsion>

I'd say it's going to be locked soon... GTP doesn't exactly like the idea of hoons in a car park =/

HAHA!!Im not saying it was bad, but you could have done better, I cant see anything inside in the dark. You should have gone outside and filmed it. When my friends brother still had his Trueno, he and his friends did some drifing near my house they stop some of those plastic trays from McDonalds, and stuck em to the back wheels of one of his friends Civic. They didnt film it though. We live up in the mountains, but its like high that it snows, or it not windy enough to be ID.My friends brother sold his Trueno, and but a Scion TC. I volunteer at this musseum, and it has a windy narrow road uphill to get to the musseum, and on the sides, theres gutters like on Akina. That doesnt relate with anything, but Im just saying.

I agree, I didn't take the camera with me thinking it would be funny enough to put on the internet, so now that my friends and I have a direction for this, we'll attemp to up the quality level for Episode II.
Oddly enough, within an hour of having the video up, I got 2 requests to film for Episode II, as in, it'll have some half decent shots and possibly mulitple angles.

7 1/2 min of crappy vision. I couldn't tell what they were doing besides giggling like school girls and swearing a lot.

Nice first post, clown. :dunce:

EDIT: Just thought I should atleast make you somewhat correct with this post. You were incorrect when stating my first post was "talking crap."

It'd be best if the pre-flaming stopped here seeing as it's going no where.
Thanks.

as long as the next video has no cursing and swearing, it'll be awesome...only thing that could have made this film a lot better :(
