A Dead heat

Have searched but haven't come up with this one. Correct me if I am wrong!

Whilst doing the Mazda RX-8 races I had a really close race where I came
2nd by 0.019 secs. This got me thinking, has anybody ever had a DEAD HEAT with identical times with another car, say for 1st and 2nd place? If so, which place were you given? I imagine it must be extremely rare but it may have happened.

I once got 0.009 in GT All Stars but I've never had a dead heat.

Once I managed to make identical lap times on time trial.

Me = me ghost.

But never happened while racing.

There are threads about this in the GT3 forum, but I've not seen one for GT4.

In GT3, if you got a dead heat, you lost. It seems that they've changed that for GT4 as you can see from the pic above. I got a dead heat, and won.

Well I think the reason why you might win in GT4 may be because they go to the ten thousandth of a second. So that may apply while playing in LAN mode.

Yeah I found those but I was looking for another one though. I think it had as a title "This game still gets my pulse beating" something like that. Couldn't find it though.

once the computers had a dead heat it taihiti road in gt2 it was for 4th and 5th. they had the exact time but they had diff positions

I got +0,000 second several times during training laps....the closest race was as far as I can remember +0.012
And +0,001 seconds with GT1

Closest I've had would be about 0.2, I remember one of the recent MotoGPs being won by 0.001, it was like half a wheel. Great race that was.
