A dying way of life.

I recently took a trip to a rural area of the northern midwest. I took some pictures to record what I saw. This kind of life is dying out and when these things are gone they are gone forever. I also just like it and feel nostalgic when I go back there. Barns, silos, small, family farms and the Great Lakes are a big part of my past I've missed for years. I only wish I'd had more sunny, photography friendly weather, although the gray skies seem fitting for a few of the shots. Some ended up being disappointing and those aren't here. But I'll take more next year. Hope you find them interesting.

Nice one Milefile.

Do you mind if I use the cat picture for a Desktop background?

I'm looking at that car thinking, "Hmmm, I bet I can chop, channel and section that car into one sweet looking hot rod. With big fat drag tires in the back, and slim tires in the front. A semi-metallic pearl-orange paint job, with metallic blue, green and purple flame job outlined in pink." Sweet.

Nice photos. What kind of camera did you use?
