1. Ae86 is it in here? If so can i start off with it in career? (been watching too much inital D)

2. last gt game i played was gt2 and played the hell out of it and loved it, how much has the game changed since than 0.o (might be hard to awnser)

3. How is the online? quick to find a match? Events online? Peneltys for those who crash into others? easy to play with a friend through online?

1. Yes, it's in there but you might not be able to sat with it. 2. It has changed alot since GT2 as there are 1074 cars, about 35(?) tracks, being able to borrow friends cars, and lots of other things. 3. It runs pretty good online encept the every once in a while some car lag and disconited. It is quick to find events and if the room "king" has peneltys on it will have but some rooms have them off. Yes it is easy to play with a friend as you join a room and he vists your profile and jons your room. Hope that sums it up as this is a very great game to play. If possible get the XL version as it has DLC vouchers to get te DLC cars and tracks.

thanks for the quick reply quick question how does care borrowing work? is there damage costs? and is the ae86 easy to obtain or is it hard to fine?

You add a friend and go to his profile and if it shows up to 6 cars select it and hit borrow. If your car gets damaged when you quit race it returns to normal condiction. AE86 is between easy and hard. Every race you try and quit 6 new cars will pop in the Used Car Delear thus incresing your chances of getting it.

In other words, you can't buy standard cars new. Basically, if it's in the UCD the first time you play the game, then you're lucky. But if not, you'll have to wait.

The Toyota AE86 is not a highly detailed premium car with a moddeled interior. Don't know if that matters to you but now you know.

You have XvX around your name. Really? That's cool?

The 86 that you get in the game will never been Takumi's 86. His engine was replaced. You can't replace the engine. If you don't mind driving it with the original engine, then yes, both the Trueno and Levin 86s are in the game. The engines can be tweaked to produce more horsepower, but they can't be replaced.

Mind you, there are many cars that are better than the 86, no offense. Even in Initial D, the FD was better. But, every car in Initial D is available in GT 5. Even the pretty Sleighty.

Online is as good as the console gaming world can get. That's not saying much, mind you. PD and Kaz don't truly understand online gaming. I don't imagine they can even spell MMO. But it isn't bad and if it wasn't in the game, I for one wouldn't've bothered.

GT2 and GT5 are worlds apart. The physics are completely different and GT5 is much closer to a sim but still loads of fun. Online is pretty good once you get used to the loading screens (a bit long for me). Yes there are some occasional server disconnects and black screens but in general it works well. If you aren't too picky about race specs you will have lots of fun online. Some hosts restrict the driving aids and prefer certain other settings for their races, and you can't see these details until you actually take the time to enter the room. You can always create a new room and host with your own preferred specs and settings. I have had good success and tons of fun being host.

I bought a Hachi-Roku from the UCD that has some Japanese person's name in the model name, I don't remember what it is but it might be Takumi. (I'm not at home to play my PS3 right now.) From the UCD it had subtle mods that may have included different displacement and/or more power. Is this a rare car?

There's a S. Shigeno version of the AE86. Shigeno is the guy who came up with Initial D and yes, that car is the one from Initial D, albeit before the engine exploded in the series. So, minus the black hood and racing engine.

I have several of each version in the game. Send me a FR and I'll loan ir gift you one.

1, Yes, you can start the game off with it if you can afford to it. But I'm not sure if the car is available for beginners who have just hit the gate to the GT world.

2, GT has dramatically changed from the pieces for the 1st PS console in terms of various fields of physics. The graphics, number of cars(although GT2 also have a great number of vehicles in the gt-mode), selection of way of processing one's race(between A or B spec) and additional features for online...

3, I think you're able to find a match quickly if your connection goes well with and there are a lot of players on the same time-zone, however, I'm anxious that the quality of races may be deteriorating lately.
As for penalties and easiness in making friends through online, if the host himself enacts strict regulations for those who acted slovenly during their personal race, surely there are punishments deserving offenders. And yes, it is basically easy to find a new friend in the lobbies but of course minimum obedience of interpersonal demeanor is required. :)

The S.Shigeno version does have have a black hood, while it doesn't have the same engine as the initial d version it does have a high rev version of the 4ag that can put out approx the same power (240hp) without adding a turbo.

It is hard to find, unless you trade for it in the marketplace. Although I don't you would get to the grips of trading yet since you're fairly new to the game. I would give you one if I had two, but I've only got one I use to learn drifting. Good luck looking for it though.

I think many people here will be more than willing to gift you a Hatchi-Roku when you get the game, great car.
Online is good, now it takes a while to find good servers but you have GTP, many leagues and races going on, game has changed a lot and it's very realistic (as long as you don't overtune your cars and use comfort tires) and yes, there is not 1 but are 3 AE86 in the game, Sprinter Trueno AE86, Corolla Levin AE86 and S.Shigeno AE86. Even though it's a standard it doesn't matter, all cars handle great and you'll have loads of fun.
