Hey guys. I don't post here much, but I read many of the posts. I have a few questions. I'm struggling with the Historic race (bspec), I have the Toyota 7, but still no luck. I've read the post concerning what settings and such but so far all of guys are goons when it comes to this race. I'm in the process of griding some races to bring up my drivers level, hopefully this helps him stop running into walls on the last lap and causing him to lose the race.

I see there is a formula race. Will any races award me with the formula car, or do I need to save the money and buy one?

Lastly, People talk about the endurance races. I haven't seen any yet, do more races open up after you complete so many races or achieve a certain level?

Thanks for the help.

2J is what I needed. Add the big turbo and my Bob crushed the race. No other car would work for me.

I used the Toyota 7 myself. I turned the front and rear downforce up as high as it would go and messed with the LSD settings, sorry but I can't remember exactly what I used, I'll go see if I can find where I posted them. Basically what I did was make the car very stable under braking but when you turned in on slow corners (i.e. every corner at Cote d'Azur) it just swung the nose through perfectly every time. Such a beautiful car to drive...

Oh, found it! Ha ha, I had quite a few positive responses to this so hopefully this thread will help you:

Monaco can be beaten with a variety of cars, it depends on the B-Spec driver though as to which car is more suited.

You need to buy the Formula GT.

The Endurance Races become available at level 25.

I got a zero-mile FGT with a Level 24 ticket. But that was awarded AFTER I completed the entire B-spec series by finishing the 24-hour Nurb race... It was a bit late in coming, but you CAN win the FGT as a prize.

Thanks for all the quick responses guys. Very much appreciated!! I'll keep grinding races and bring his level up and I'll check out those setting that was posted. Also, if I can't get it with the Toyota 7, is there a reasonable way to acquire the 2J? I don't have anywhere near the money to pick that up. Or do I just need to keep grinding away until I have the money?

I had delayed doing the Historic Cup with Bob after reading on here that his only hope was in the 2J ... I got bored of grinding for credits and waiting for it to turn up in the UCD so I gave him a shot in the Toyota 7 and he breezed through both races quite easily. I guess it's just a case of levelling him up a bit and then coming back to do them 👍

I set the speed to 170mph everything else as it is, upgraded the turbo's on the Toyota 7 and i did it. It is mainly setting the speed right for the course.
FGT check the online car dealers usually around 5 million credits or trade for 1.
Endurance start at Level 25 then 26,27,28,30,32,33,35 and 40
