3. No. But they've been upgraded
4. Yes.
5. There's a way to get millions by deleting the 1.01 patch and selling cars. There's a thread about with a video.

5. What's the best way to get/earn money in-game?

Without resorting to deleting and reapplying patches (or whatever you do, I cannot get my head around it ), the Like the Wind race on Special Stage Route X and the NASCAR race on the Motegi oval (both in the International A events) both pay out just under 50,000 credits in under five minutes.

You win a NASCAR by earning half of the gold stars (which you win by completing races) in the Int. A events, and it's cheap enough to build a 1,000bhp GT-R or Viper (I used the 15th Anniversary Viper I got for free) for SSRX.
