I just want to take the time to compliment the vast majority of legitimate drag racers in the GT5 community. For a time there we went through slump with all the "glitches," but I find myself racing for hours at a time again due to the level of competition across the board. I want to congratulate those who worked hard to rebuild the community and bring the fun back to GT5. I know it is just a game, but PD has done such an excellent job creating a magnificent, and extremely detailed, program that I feel us drag racers exemplify on the Indy and 3k circuit. Again, congrats to those who have become masters of the "sport" and to the ones who are still learning, be patient. Learning the ins and outs of each individual car can be difficult, and the more you tune the more you learn. Take the time after a couple of losses to create a new setting and retune your car. Ask questions, don't be pushy about a tune* After all, we are all trying to WIN.
On another note: Please stop trying to "kill" the supercar racing. I know they are always running and it does get old, but that is what draws people to the game. The idea of racing a 1000hp car down the track is what sparked the interest to all of us I believe. I do agree there needs to be more diversity on the track, but lets push that on those of us who are "fast".
That being said I feel like the community is in a good place. With the multiple new teams rising up, I have a good feeling about the future of GT5 Drag Racing.
