Today, I decided to try out my Saleen S7 for the first time since I picked it up from the UCD back on 2010/12/25. So as per usual, I take it to get the oil changed, as it has 12,168.0 km on her. But to my surprise, the message pops up that "The oil in this car is still in good condition. An oil change is not necessary." I thought this rather strange, as it had no switches nor any wins. Has this happened to anyone else?

Have a good one

You probably did it already and forgot about it.

He said no changes do that's unlikely.......

With that mileage it does seem strange.......

I agree; If you've owned the game and maintained a save for that long, chances are that you've touched at least every car in your garage by now. Also, choosing to get in when you purchase a car doesn't count as a switch, so that may have been an opportunity to change the oil without any switches.

I picked up GT5 on release date, but even after a good year and a half later, I still haven't tried all my cars yet. I thought it might have been something else besides a faulty memory... In my experience with GT5, an oil change or adding parts always got you the switch after the purchase of the car... and I just can't see myself switching to this car but not racing and/or winning with it

Well that happened to me also with different car but with lower mileage but still some 2-3k km on it.
Maybe you were lucky to buy the car from a person that frequently changes the oil. :sly:

Nothing valid has come up to my mind yet besides you just forgot changing the oil long ago or you made an error in counting the overall mileage...

It used to be the case that you could get into a car by pressing triangle from the garage overview screen and it would not count it as a change.
