AAAH DON'T PANIC!!!

Yesterday my memory card wasn't in my PS2 so i started up GT3 and i just clicked through all the screens (somehow I managed to miss the no-mem-card warning :D) And when I went into GT-mode I flipped!! :p Well, soon I realized the situation (and WHAT a situation :rolleyes: ;) ). And -lazy as ever- I didn't felt like getting up and walking all the way to my ps2 to insert my mem card but instead I just started over ;) And, dude, was that fun! Hehe...I started with an MX5 and went straight to the spider&roadster cup; didn't win the test course race :p So I collected some money for a race exhaust and a 10,000cr :mad: transmission. Only to found out that the SLK wasn't participating and I could've won in my stock MX5 easily :rolleyes: :D . A few cups, and two licenses, later I bought a Lancer VI GSR (not the Tommie Makinen edition because tommie makkinen is a wanker :p just/kidding ;) ) Hehe...first I had some fun at complex string with my new Lancer (I just made a leap from 172hp-MX51.8i- to 302hp) so I pretty much flipped over the power I had between my legs (no, not that!, you pervert...well; maybe a little of that too ;) ) then I realized this Lancer was an understeering (well, not really understeering but it would flip back too soon coming out of corners) b*tch! And i desperatly needed a VCR controller; which I bought after the evolution cup. Time elapsed: 3 or 4 hours, about 7% done... Garage: Mazda MX5(J); Mazda MX5 1.8i; Lancer IV; Lancer VI GSR; CRX del sol; Trueno and another Mazda MX5(J). Well, I sold all cars except the Lancer VI GSR and I bought a Mazda RX7 RZ!!! Then i went to the kitchen...and when I got back................[size=-2]My brother was playing GTA3 :mad: :mad: [/size]
 
...so then you went back in the kitchen, got the largest pan you could find and... :splat:

I must admit, I was expecting some amazing revelation he'd discovered whilst playing the game without a mem. card, or the machine was still on with 85+% complete or something.

but no.

i'm a guy who have sacred propertys, and one of these properties are my videogame consoles.

Good story. I recently started a new game because I used F1 overkill the first time around. Anyway it was a blast, I had almost finished beginner mode and got my sharkport, I needed the mem card for another project so I downloaded that save to pc. Now I can't find it. :mad: I'll find it eventually.
 
I have to share it with my wife.
At least I bought her a memory card for christmas.

She's bound to destroy my game at some point, so I figure I can start over again when she does (And guilt her into letting me play longer!!).

Same here! :D He (my bro) sucks at GT3 too ;) Too bad he owns my ass in Unreal Tournament networking :mad:

I just started a new fresh start about a week ago! Its running on thin ICE because i leave it running overe night b/c i dont want to save over my old game (80% done). I have the ia liscence.
 
same problem here, I've kept the PS2 on for almost a week now because I haven't had time to go out and buy a memcard, gonna do it tomorrow though.. the disc is gonna be pretty hot when i take it out... :eek:

I hope this hasn't damaged the PS2 in any way, and to minimize the possible damage I've left it on demo mode every night so that it wouldn't be reading the exact same thing all night.. :nervous:

but with my luck just seconds before i put my newly acquired there will be a power failure or something :p
 
i have just started GT3 again, but i had the foresight to buy a 2nd memory card off a pratt at work for £5 :eek: .... isn't it great, i love the old crappy cars again, great challenge.... :D
