A fun thing to do with friends when bored

With the aid of MK's Editor, my friends and I have had several tournies when we're not out driving out real cars.

We give each other a budget of say $50 000 and using that money we buy cars in the game and modify them. The catch is we can use the editor to make realistic hybrids.

We also calculate the prices of the cars differently from real life so we say the Civics are 15k used while the Integras are 20k.

Example of my 40k car:

EG Civic (93 SiR): used, $10 000
Engine w/tranny: h22a (Accord R/Prelude): $5000
Suspension: $4 000
Spoon Engine internals: $10 000
Tires: $4 000
Stage 1 Weight Reduction: $4 000
Brakes: $3 000

We then race. :)
 
We don't do the Hybrids because I just recently got a XPort, and I'm the only one to have one. But we do the same sort of thing. Our races were like these:

Inline fours with 30k credits.
AWD Turbos charged with 30k credits.
V6s with 20k credits.
60k spending credits.
 
we get escudos and run head first into each other at 300 mph :) its tons of fun to see how far you can make each other fly.
 
i once hit another car at over 1000 kmh head on, i feel sorry for the guys wife and kids. :)

How do you know there wasn't a chick behind the wheel?
 
Yeah it's fun to do a jump and see all that wonderful clipping that lets you see across the map
 
I do somthin similar, cept without the xport and hybridification. I just set an amount of money to spend, as well as a course to race, then let em have at it.
 
Go to free run, track laguna seca. Park your car on top of the corkscrew, and see how far you can go without applying the gas.

i go to the test course go 274 mph in a supra and spin out ad popup in the air and count how long it all lats :p
 
i have little drift competitions with some friends or if not that then we set up the i-link and all line up at a straight track like test course then go at it

:D
 
Since I don't have any friends, I like to sit alone in the dark and talk to myself... :odd:

hey the setting urself a limit and buying cars is a great idea. never thought of that. though i dont have any friends who are that into gt3! :'(. i have one friend with gt3 and he hadn't seen any cars with sparks yet, so i showed him the escudo doing the speed of light trick and he shouted "what the hell are those? photons?" :D love it.

yeah when i get bored, i stop playing. quite simple really...
