Can we make a sub-forum in the Gran Turismo section all about Kazunori Yamauchi? I mean the Kaz tweet thread has a lengthy discussion, relevant or not, or tweets that talk about his upcoming games. Also, Kaz can tweet something else other than GT.

I agree, how we have not had a sub-forum dedicated to his holiness should be a crime.

All hail the hypnotoad Kazunori Yamauchi.

The above post is sarcasm.

Oh my God, yeah! We can talk about what we think his favourite food, colour and animals are!

Are you guys against it?

Be serious. Just saying.

Yes, very good. This isn't Facebook. Or Google+. Quit with the useless posts.

This is not going to happen. An entire subforum justified by a single thread about one Twitter page? No.

What about a Polyphony Digital sub-forum? If not,

Sorry for wasting your time. :indiff:

What about a Polyphony Digital sub-forum?

The same applies. Anything they release now - unless they come up with another Motor Toon Grand Prix or Omega Boost - will likely be covered in its own subforum, with all the help and griping that usually entails. Anything else about them is News material - like their office expansion last year - and already covered there.

If not, Sorry for wasting your time. :indiff:

You aren't.

How about having a new new single thread and having it stickied + locked so only the staff can update it? Maybe unlock for like a day for discussions but that would be decent and hard work though.

So what shall we say instead? "I concur"? "I agree"? "I support this notion"?
I don't want to be seen as spamming, or someone trying to boost their post count. All I wanted to do was show my support for the feature the OP was proposing. I can't see why this is "useless".

Perhaps not, but it would be nice to have a section of focused discussion of what is going on over at our friends at PD. In the GT5 section there seems to be just pockets of discussion, randomly spread everywhere (except, as you said, the Kaz Twitter page, or perhaps the General Discussion sticky thread).

The only reason I can think of that would possibly make a PD sub-forum a bad idea would be the possibility of it being taken over by ranting and complaining. In fact, maybe this isn't a good decision after all...

Perhaps you missed the part where someone agreed (by way of "+10") with your post agreeing with them agreeing with the idea (by way of "i like this"). And the part where my response was right after that post?

Do you not see the superfluousness of person A agreeing (in brief) with person B's brief response that they agree with person A?

This is a forum. The point of a forum is discussion. I'd expect to find pockets of discussion on a forum.

Well, that and the fact that every single PD game except the two MTGP games and Omega Boost already has its own subforum. Which would leave nothing to discuss in this new subforum except the non-GT-related stuff we cover on the News pages - which in the last 12 months has extended to a colossal three articles...

There is no need to have a Kazunori/Polyphony subforum.

Then perhaps the Kazunori Yamauchi tweets thread can be stickied at the very least.

Ah, I did not see that the same person was needlessly supporting his own post. My apologies.

It is annoying to have have unfocused discussion though. Not is the sense of a free kind of discussion, but in the sense that particular topic over-rides the central discussion.
But, if there is not enough content to be had, then fin.

woops suppose to be +1

Then perhaps the Kazunori Yamauchi tweets thread can be stickied at the very least.

I'm not sure that's a great idea either - especially given the regularity of complaints about that thread. Yamauchi's Twitter can be bookmarked in your browser anyway (or followed, if you have a Twitter account).

Though I have been looking at reviewing the stickies in the two main GT5 forums.

Thus missing the point of why your post was superfluous...

That particular thread is normally on the first page anyway and if it isn't, there is no new news, this is what is needed and luckily it's what we already have.
There is no point having a whole sub forum dedicated to Kaz mentioning old Japanese cars or German power grid solutions.
