I took this shot thinking if i could clean this up it would look great, well it turns out i don't have the abilities to do so yet so the challenge is show what you can do with this picture (doesn't have to be a cleanup) and the winner will get a car of there choice painted in DLC paints or a ticket etc.

Any editing including HDR is allowed.

I had a go at it, and couldn't do anything decent at all. I did, however, manage to make it look like a crappy low-res photo of it blowing it's engine though.

I dunno, it was tough to do with the smoke, and I am not sure if it is because I over edited or I didnt have the original file but it wants to pixelate if i do anything to it.

I'm excited about a 3.0 Comp as well, not that I'd be entering but, I imagine it would be awesome when the heavyweights 'round here are given the opportunity to go all out. :)
 
I think that for reaching Great 3.0 results the base shot has to be good as well. If not, Its impossible to go anything beyond "good" or "nice".
 
Well, if you can't take ou the smoke, add more. At least the smoke artifacts are gone.

Really like what I'm seeing so far, if you guys enjoyed this I do have another idea that I think everyone might like :)

I chose to edit this photo with apps on my iPod Touch, but if the results looked the same on my computer monitor, than I would be happy to edit my photos using my iPod any day. :grumpy:​
 
Sorry for the delay in closing this i've been a little busy lately, a massive thanks to everyone who competed there were some really cool entries. Unfortunately i can't pick multiple winners but congrats to Ilya on his awesome shot hopefully you guys will agree that it was a well deserved win:tup:

I have a few other ideas for similar 3.0 edits so if you want me post those up let me know.

Feedback is available if anyone wants it although seeing as i can't actually do half these types of edits myself im not sure how i could provide any criticisms:lol:.
