Ive been playing forza 4 for a couple of hours now and theres just something about the road textures i dont like,they seem to have notched the detail down from 3! And why is everything so bright?! Sometimes you carnt even see your speed dial!.
One more thing what is going on with the fps in the rear mirror?! I thought theyd of fixed that from the demo!.
Seems to me like theyve made sacrifices for better looking models.
Anyone feel the same?
 
I haven't had any trouble seeing the dial; maybe you need to adjust the in-game brightness settings, or if that does not help, the settings on your TV.
 
It is a little shiny on some tracks but like i said this game is the best bar none gt5 fans have to know this also sorry to go off subject lol.

Ive adjusted my settings,it just seems to me like theyve taken things away for nicer looking cars.If you go from playing forza 3 to 4 its noticable..
Doesnt seem as crisp,and road textures arent as good.

I've noticed that the correct TV settings make a massive difference in the game. Game mode for every game I've ever played on my TV has made the picture worse, but for FM4, it made a world of difference. That said, the Xbox is being pushed to its limit, and while it's sad to see the give and take with the graphics, I think that for the most part they applied the most graphical power to where it's deserved.
 
Certain things were sacrificed in this game for performance reasons and the main one is probably the age and hardware in the xbox 360.
 
Yes i agree with you both,theres definately been some give and take.The lighting,shadows and general look of the game looks alot more realistic,it took my eyes a while to get used to it but on the whole definatly a better looking game.
Think il disable the rear view camera tho,choppy as hell!.
