well, In kansas, when you're 15 (or have had your learner's permit at least 6 months, I think)you can get a permit to drive by yourself from home to school, but our school doesn't give parking spaces if you don't have a full license.

And I thouhgt it was more strict in the US... here the only thing you can drive before 16 is a scooter. Good for you! (if there is parking space near your school).

The sme laws apply here. You can drive alone to and from school with the learner's permit (i like to call it a restricted license). There's parking for everyone at my school, but if you're not a Senior then you have to park at the very back of the school.

Here in ND, you can get your permit at 14 and 6 months later get your license.
