Thanks for being interested enough to get this far. ;)

So, about non-Thrustmaster shifters on the TX and T300...



I do apologize that the video is so zoomed in. I made this rather quickly. I'll do a better one later on.

Something to note: The FL2 isn't necessary, it just happened to be the simplest and quickest way to demonstrate this. I could have just as easily plugged a Fanatec shifter directly into the circuit connected to the wheel.

heh. :) Yeah, I just shaved it awhile ago and it's growing back again. I'll find a pic maybe and post it.

That I'm not sure yet... Not too long I guess. I want to make it dual purpose:

A. My other adapters/Fanatec shifters on TX/T300 wheels.

B. TH8A on Fanatec wheels.

That makes the most logical sense I think. It's not like it's difficult. This thing has been sitting on the back burning for awhile why I try to catch up on my CPX adapter "pre-orders"
 
Did you recognize the little board on the breadboard? :)

Possibly at some point though it doesn't look as though it's implemented on the wheel itself yet. I have do to more experimenting before I can say for sure.

Remember people, Mr. Basher has a regular job and a life with a new child I believe. Lets cut him some slack. His contributions to the sim racing community have been vast. I know I've been using his products since the beginning.
 
i know it was mentioned some time ago but would it be possible (with a firmware change) to use a usb shifter like the TH8RS on the tx with ths SFA1 adapter? or will this new adapter be the best solution?

This new adapter, (vaporware for now), is for non-Thrustmaster shifters on Thrustmaster bases.

Everyone has their own life, and having family, job, baby's, etc, doesn't mean "goodbye internet" :)

I never said goodbye internet, but I can tell you that I myself have disappeared for weeks sometimes due to obligations, and I don't have kids LOL.
