That's a good point about GT3.

In GT4 you HAVE to use more techniques for weight transfer techniques, not just getting the wheels spinning. That's the main difference I've seen so far. When you get the weight shifted properly, the car can and will drift predictably. When bad technique or simple wheelspin causes the drift, then it tends to be a bit more difficult.

Does that include feinting (without the braking techniques)?? That's weight shifting too isn't it?

Uh, if you mean for good weight shifting technique, the yes! :) Feinting is one of the coolest looking ways to initiate a drift. And it also minimizes the need to use the brakes before corner entry since you can scrub off speed during the feint.

Yeah I mean that, just needed to know if it belonged to the weight-shifting thing you were talking about

I saw GT4 today in a shop nearby, I just don't have that extra 10,- arrrgg:crazy:
Just needed to say that I'll be drifting SOOONNN:dopey::):D (maybe tommorow.......mmm........ you never know when I get that extra 10,- from my sold games)

Great. But let me give you this advise. Do NOT try to just jump into drifting. Go through at least the A and B license tests and a few races like the Sunday cup before trying to drift. I say this because the physics engine is very different and will take some getting used to.

No offcourse not, I'll be frustrated on my first lap!! I'll do those liscences (maybe a bit fast with GT3, no just kidding) and jsut have a few laps around the Ring anyway, because I think that'll be more fun when first beginning anyway:tup:

Since you're in Europe you may have a better idea of what the ring is like. But I thought it was going to be much different then it is. It's a great course, I was just expecting something different.

How do you mean different?? I only have seen vids. .......many vids. of the Ring and I know it's a fabulous track, but I'm too young to drive it if that's what you mean. Pretty weard those different continents, you know that weard Initial D stuff and I ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T, and I know a bit about the Nurenburgring, and you don't REALLy have a clue what to expect from it:lol: This again proves the great capability's with Internet:lol::sly:

B.t.w. sorry for going off-topic but this thread isn't going about ANYthing, ANYmore, ANYway........if you know what I mean
