My congratulations to you on getting a yacht to leave the UK on 28th November 2004, sail 27,354 miles around the world and arrive back 72 days later.

However, could you please let me know when the kitchen I ordered 96 days ago will be arriving from your warehouse 13 ******g miles away!!?

*Sigh* I don't know if you have heard but a Brittish woman by the name of Ellen McArthur (now a Dame) Set the world record for sailing solo around the world. She was in Trimaran Yaught called "B&Q" as that was the name of the company that sponsored it. B&Q is a DIY home furnishing store here in the UK.

Hope that helps.

Oh ok, I gues it's the fact that I don't watch news anymore (or read about it for that matter). Then again sailing isn't the most exiting of sports (not like bowling).

(runs away to play hookey and let a truck decay in his front yard)

So... is curling as boring as sailing?

Oh thats a toughie. Well I can say that curling while on a sailboat is fun, and sailing on a large sheet of ice is fun, but Canadians sailing is not. I think I'll give sailing the nod as most boring, just because of the monotomy of open water.

Sleep deprived. I was real hyper so I couldn't sleep last night. I tend to go up or down, either real quiet or bouncing off the walls.

Oh yeah? I usually hallucinate when I pull all-nighters...

Should have went to IKEA, you know that one. :p

Although they don't do kitchens, or do they? They might (i'm sure I saw some sort of thing like a kitchen or something in one of those glossy Ikea catalogues) I forget, seeing as the only IKEA i've been to was the one near Lakeside. They bloody make you walk all the way through the store to get out. Which I thought was a really sucky marketing ploy.

Edit: Why is this in the cc?

Because it was a joke (based on real life)

I think I'll sleep on a couch next time I go to Ikea. Let my parents do the walking.
