A problem with the DLC paints

from the DLC, you get 100 special new paints
and you get one of each.
Problem? you cannot dupe them

I want to use the paints, but I dont want them to dissapear
what should I do?

If you could dupe them, you could potentially sell them to other GT users. Perhaps PD thought of this and took measures to stop it happening?

Save game to USB. Paint car. Send to 2nd account. Reload USB save. Send yourself the DLC painted car. No DLC paint used.

backup your saved data onto usb stick or something. take it out. then paint a car under 1mill cr with one of dlc paints, then send that car to another psn account of yours. reload game file from usb stick and you have your paint back plus painted car on other account which you can send back the next day.

I have a dumb question to add. If you paint a car, then paint it again later with a different color do you get the original color back? Similar to changing gear?

No. Would you get the original color back on your real world car if you painted it? Paint tends to dry once it's out of the can.

^^ yeah but if I bought a whole gallon and didn't use the whole thing? Jk I was only wondering because if you change your gear you get them back. But I guess you can wash them.

Bringing back an old thread with a relevent post is always preferable to starting a new one on the same subject.
