Ok, so I'm new to this OLR thing, and, don't want to get banned, cos, best as I can tell, this is the best gt4 forum around.

I have a 1:12.727 on Autumn Ring with a 240Z. I thought it was a perfect run, but, watching the replay, right at the beginning, before the timer starts, my right wheels were in the grass, and left on the rumble strip.

Does this still count as two wheels on the track?

Also, since it was before the time starts, does this count?

Also, after I ran the lap, I decided life wasn't worth living anymore, and crashed head on into the wall.

Actually, a cat decided to use my leg as a scratching post!!

Anyhow, I just wanted to clear that up before I posted the lap time.

Again, simplified;

Does the 2 wheels on track rule apply before the timer starts?
Does it apply after the lap was run?
If two wheels are in the grass, two on the rumble strip, is this still "2 wheels on"??

Thanks

Two wheels on the track are the rules. Rumble strips are considered part of the track. So from the description given, you are abiding by the rules.

If you have a question, please upload the replay and we'll review it.

Also, what happens after you run your "hot lap" is irrelevant (and the rules do not apply) because it has no effect on your submitted time.

I know the rules appear on the page after you click "submit time", but should they perhaps be available as a sticky at the top of the leaderboard forum?
