Well it's the end of the first week of the Summer holidays and in classic British fashion it hasn't stopped raining. So I have been bored out of my mind most the time.

So far to break teh boredom I've gone around a mates house but that isn't even appealing any more as PS2 can only entertain for so long. And the cinema was costly enough without making it daily.

So now I want to hastily make a potato canon, but without my own transport and it raining it's hard to get the materials and have anywhere to assemble or test it. :(

So what do you do on a rainy day?

watch tv, internet, computer games, puzzles. lots to do.

I was going to say that.

Your first week? I've already had 1 week off :D

You guys have just gotten off for summer? I've been off for more than two months now. I start back in another 29 days.

I only had 2 week holiday, im startin my apprenticeship on monday. Great summer for me :(

I listen to rock music real loud whilst playin some online gaming like call of duty :D

Go outside! You're waterproof you know! You won't melt.

Yes, but i went outside today, and came back looking like somebody had pushed me into a canal.

It's fine over here.Haha.

I,m not a big fan of hot weather.

Over here, It is one of the dryest summers on record. I can only remember 1 day all summer where it rained pretty much the whole day.

Yeah .. same here. The most rain we've gotten this summer was like a little 2 hour downpour about three weeks ago.

You should move to Scotland. It's been dry here all day.

Wow its as if the climates of england and scotland decided to have some fun and swap around...

No but the nearest pitch, and best for getting refreshments, tends to flood quite easily so a day or two of sun is usually needed to dry it out.

And walking round is hardly much fun either. Not only do you get stared at by grannies that think you'll rob them, but also drivers don't take much care where puddles are concerned as 911_Carrera found out recentley.

It was a lovely evening here. I'm just back from a cycle ride.

It has turned out quite nice aswell here. Hope it is nice tomorrow might mow the lawn :o. At least it is something

I trick. I open up the living room (open up as in move everything out of the way), and I just trick until I can't stand up. Tricking? Look at the Sampler on my sig. I normally do more, but that's what I did last night and just felt like putting it online =Þ

I go outside and see how many times i can get struck by lightning! :dopey:

Whats your record?

I can't wait for winter. No more rain, and it won't be hotter than an obese turkish marathon runner's jockstrap outside. all the northern states get their blizzards and crap which sucks all the bad weather away from florida. yay.

Hurricane season sucks. stupid rain.

I can't belive the people complaining about the heat(gtp & locally). I'd take hot over cold & wet, anyday!

There are plenty of things you can do at home, when it's rainy:

  • Read. Check out the Library too.
  • DVDs & Video Games.
  • Play/Listen to Music.
  • Hobby(build models, organize collections, draw/paint). Personally, I really need to organize my basketball cards.
  • gtplanet

If you have little cash, you could go bowl, hit the mall or catch a movie.

Thinking about I still have an F/A-18 super Hornet to finish :dopey:

And I've aleady done mall and movie. Bowling might be later in the Holiday.

PS2 and GTP. I dont have alot to do...even if its nice weather outside.

And it's lovely and sunny up here today.
