A really cool idea to mess with MTV

Ok, maybe it's just too damn late in the night, but I think this would be cool. You get everyone you know and get them to tell all of their willing friends and etc to just go on MTV.com one day and vote for some Led Zeppelin song. I doubt enough people would vote for it, but it would be interesting to see if they actually saw these votes and wondered what the hell is up with everyone voting for this old song. Or maybe it's just too late as stated before.
 
I'm too much of a cynic to believe that you would be able to pull that off. I think that if you vote for any song that's not on the current playlist, they'll simply dump the vote.
 
Yea, you're probably right, and I doubt I'd ever try it. I just thought it would be kind of funny, but they probably only play whats current anyway.
 
....try and get evryone on GT planet to do it. Get like Jordan to mail everyone or something....yeah and Minardi are going to win the constructors championship next year :rolleyes: .
If only in a perfect world would that be good.
I hate MTV anywayz I never watch it.

.....And you would not get nearly enough votes, millions of people vote every day, you might get a couple hundred if your lucky to vote for the song you want!

IF people did this, MTV would be like, wtf are these losers doing? That voting system dosen't even work, it's all computer generated.

I disagree. Have you even heard any of their songs? Stairway to Heaven is my favorite.

On Topic- I doubt anyone at MTV has even heard of Led Zeppelin. It wouldn't work.
 
Personally I think either Kashmir or Achiles Last Stand are their best. I don't like stairway to heaven it's to slow for my tastes.
 
Well, I'm sure Led Zepplin albums still find their way into the top-200-albums per week listing. I doubt Justin Timberlake will ever find such success 25 years after he's returned to bussing tables.
