This *#^@ GT4 game is a hard mother... I've just completed the World Championship. I had tried it with cars unworthy of the race, such as Cadillac Cien, Camaro Race Car, and the Lambo immitation (i forgot its name). I then spent a hefty sum of credits on the Jaguar Race Car... only to find it eats tires like a mother*(#&#$...which is further messed up by the fact that I ran it over ten times on that first race and found that the cars in the first 2-3 positions never pitted!!!

Actually, they did once and I had a chance... until my red tires made me spin out!!!
Even if I pitted a second time, I would have lost. O'well...

I did the 24 hr endurance and got the F1 car. The Championship still made me work, really, but I won!

That's just a little update on my situation. But I've read a lot of what everyone has included in these message boards. I've used that info to my advantage.
Keep it up... I've got Extreme section to race now. :yuck:

Agreed. But the F1 races still keeps you on the alert side, though. And besides, It's no harder than to try the extreme races in a lesser car to soup up the difficulty a bit.

You had to work with the F1... Ohhhh boy, that's not a good sign.. you might want to get more familiar with your license tests. They should give you some quality teachings on driving skill, race lines, etc

If you tune the F1, especially the gears then the F1 series is pathetic in A-spec and quite easy in B-spec. Get GT3 out and try the F1 series in that.

edit: I reckon they should have included one of the turbo F1 cars from GT3 to make the F1 series a challenge.
 
Dude, why does everyone say the GTWC is so hard? I used a stock Minolta.
1st 2 races=Hard back/front
Rest=Hard front/SH back

Its REALLY NOT that hard is you just race the lines right and learn when to pit.
But after the GTWC, its smooth sailing from there in Extreme besides the F1. I have yet to do that yet since I don't have a F1, and would prefer using one.

Yah I beat the GTWC with a stock Mercedes CLK GTR race car ( except hard rear tires ). I won seven of the races easily once I learned the racing lines.
