I don't know if other people have this problem, but when I view the forum list (at the bottom right) I have to scroll to whichever forum I want to go to. I'm pretty sure I used to be able to type the first couple letters to automatically select the right forum. For example, typing "lo" would select Local Gatherings. Whenever I type something, it now selects "Wiki Collaboration." It would be convenient if you could possibly re-instate this feature. Thanks

I think it’s a vB problem – I visit two vB forums, and they have the same problem (on the other forum, if you type in anything, it always jumps to “Who’s Online”), but on non-vB forums, I don’t have that problem.

Nothing has changed about the Forum Jump menu since I created our current layout more than a year ago. Perhaps you recently updated your browser?

Maybe it goes to the last alphabetically listed thing? (edit: we have World Rally Championship actually...)

Nope, I've actually tried three browsers (Safari, FF, and Camino.) It's not clear to me if it jumps correctly on your machine though.

Okay, I think I found the problem: it appears that some browser are flummoxed by the optgroup tag. Safari and Camino jump to the last alphabetical option if there are any optgroup tags; the latest version of Firefox gets it right (which is strange, because Firefox and Camino use the same rendering engines). I’ve attached an HTML file that you can use to test this.

Off topic, but is it possible to create a lo-fi version of GT planet in the future? i have webtv, and i used to be able to access GT planet from this system, but now (due to some additional computer language or something) i can't access GTP unless i'm on a real computer. I can't even access gTP Lite from webtv!

...just wondering...
