Hello GTplanet, just a short question regarding my G25. Its seems that in sequential shifting mode, it is way too sensitive, as i only have to barely touch it to shift up(1st to 2nd gear, 2nd to 3rd gear and so on). When i shift down it works as it should.

Anyway to fix this? :dunce:

is that on the paddles or gated shifter? i've found mine quite sensitive on paddles but no more so than any other game, maybe a sensor issue in the wheel? is it the same with other games or just GT5?

Woaaaa there! They were just saying that it's probably your G25... You shouldn't react like that to people responding to your thread. And comparing a malfunctioning game steering wheel to a death of a father... anyways.

It is probably the contact point of the paddle shifters. Wait is it the paddle or the gear knob switched to sequential? If its shifter, then its the same, you've got a problem in the contact points.

Yeah i know, but its now like i couldnt figure it out myself :b... You know that its probably my wheel ... And yeah, its the stick shifter when in sequential mode. And suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Well i guess unless u cant fix it by kicking it u have to open it and see if u can find something wrong. google pics of the inners of the shifter (there are some definatly) and try to compare them. if its an electronical problem im afraid theres no way to fix it.

I suppose u allready unplugged and reconnected it, both power and usb?

Contact Logitech and see if they're willing to warranty it. Logitech has really good customer support. Most of the time they will upgrade you if they cant replace it with the same item.

hey bro i own a g27 wheel and similar sensitivity enhancement problems exsist if a dual shock controller is on at the same time or if the wheel is set to port/accesory number 2, fry to go into options with the wheel and set it as accessory controller 1 and turn off any dual shock controller or n e other accessory, just my 2 cents bc my g27 has extreme senstivity when its not set to 1 and or another controller is on when playing gt5

My G25 in sequential shift mode is very sensitive in the upshift too.
Sometimes it upshifts when I don't want it to with just a slight touch. If you have a fix, let me know :)

Glad to hear im not the only one with the problem (Reffering to you BreakingOhoi).

Sadly, im the second hand owner of this wheel thus i dont have the warranty on the wheel, so i believe i cant send in the wheel to logitech, am i right?

And i'd rather have a sensitive upshift than taking apart my shifter, sadly im not that good with my finger, especially not when it comes to small parts like this :(
