Okay so heres the deal, i got 3 other people who want to partake in these two endurance races. everyone has agreed to do 6 hours each.

but we also decided who gets the night shifts, and the ones doing the night shift (Me and my GF) would like to drive the night time section of the nurburgring and Circuit De La Sarthe.

so, heres the question. the moment you start the 24hr race, does it start @ 12pm or around that time? i dont particularly know because when a time change nurb comes up online i see the clock at around 9am

I think the races start at the real time they would in their real life, which for both of them means 16:00.

Also I salute you for being able to get your GF to join you

And ALWAYS make sure you have energy drinks. It's a requirement if you're doing a 24h endurance with mates :D

Not in a million years would my GF do a single lap. So it`s great that yours is willing to participate in a major way 👍

I just did 24 hours of Le Mans and it was about hour 5 when it got dark.

Yup LeMans was 5-13 in the dusk, dark, sunrise. The dusk sucked as you get the bright sun heading towards Indianapolis. I don't know about the effect of the sunrise. It started to rain during sunrise around 12h45. Bon Voyage!

well if it was a DS3 controller i dont think anyone would do it lol

:banghead: I'm screwed then. :banghead:

I haven't actually done either event in A-Spec, just the B-Spec Le Mans 24h in real time with the actual race :D What car are you planning on using? Also using an even car is still easy because eventually the AI will glitch up and pit every lap because they don't have enough strength :boggled:

the real race starts at 15.00 hrs, have a serious think about how you approach this, you dont want to get into it and think this is too easy, well only 20 hours to go, i would want to make a fight of it but looseing after 24 hours is a hard one to swallow.

The sunrise was in my eyes pretty bad after the Dunlop Bridge and the right hander before Mulsanne Straight.

I did 24h Le mans with my cousin. We used the DS3 controller and switched every 2 stints (so drivingtime was 1:30hrs till we switched again).

Easy check: Buy the McLaren Mp4 and start the race. On the display to the left of the steering wheel you see mileage, trip meter and - a working clock! So just start the race and take a look at the clock and see what it says.

Edit: Okay, I checked Le Mans, it starts at 16.00. I haven't unlocked Nurburgring 24 h yet so can't check that one...
