A-spec & B-spec points

hey everyone. This is the first time i've been to this forum in a VERY long time. And I just started gt4. Can anyone help me to explain about b-spec and a-spec points? What they are for, what they help with, what they are needed for, etc. any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!

Already been covered. Use the search feature next time, man. Just to save time, though - A spec are pointless, and B spec indicates your B spec driver's skill.
