A spec b spec prize car confusion

I did the 200 km grand valley race in b spec mode and i was surprised not to see the sauber mercedes as i have read on this site i received a audi 1937 streamline v 16 and instead of winning the audi tt touring car in the 4hr nurburgring race i won a 1967 chaparel race car do i have to race these endurances races in a spec mode to win the sauber mercedes and the audi tt. Im confused however because in the 24 h nurburg i won the formula gt(race won in b spec) and sarth II i won the bently(b spec win) and in 1000 km fuji race i won the nissan r 92 cp (race won in b spec) I m kinda confused i really want the sauber mercedes any info would be helpfull
 
It appears that some prize cars are different between the Asian copies and the PAL/NA copies. A lot of the info on here is from the Asian versions because it has been out this late Dec/04 and that's where the early information came from.
