Has anyone ever done, for instance, a 24-hour race with a group of friends, treating it like b-spec w/driver switching at pit stops? I thought it would be a lot of fun and actually stole the idea from a friend of mine. But thought it might be cool to just make a party out of it and each person drives x amount of hours etc. Maybe each person gets a practice "heat" to get used to whatever car and tuning you're using before starting the race.

Would you do this with your friends?

None of my mates are into GT5 or they have an xbox :(

I would call that C-Spec.

I did it all the time back in the GT3 days...back when I was still young enough to have friends over for sleepovers. Fun times, though I imagine now they couldn't be bothered.

In practice that would be fairly boring I think. The person driving would be stuck there doing that and the rest of you would be hanging out doing whatever else. You know you wouldn't be sitting there watching the guy driving for more than five minutes.

yes, I will do that. but I don't have friend who is playing GT5 around here. they play Wii, online PC games or Facebook games. that is lame.

I do have friend that share the same passion as me. But they are like 5000 miles away.

Man i thought i was the only person who's friends were into Xbox and shooters...completley lame. What happened to the good 'ol days when Ford, Chevy, and Mopar were duking it out for bragging rights and the whole country was on the edge watching race after race? I'll tell you what happened, it's people like Ralph Nadar, the EPA, and the UAW who killed America's pashion for Auto Racing. Man i was born in the wrong time period, i wish i could drive my '70 Torino off into the sunset that turned back time to the Golden Age of automobiles.

That would be a good way to test out the multi monitor option.
