A Spec European Championship (extreme series) bug?

i've done a search and couldnt find this prob so here goes:
when i do the rome round of the european championship in the extreme level
i get no music, when i pause i get no menu and at the end of the race i get no menu and cant pregress
is this a GT5 bug or a prob with my game?
 
ok weirdly enough the prob resolved itself last night

admins or mods please lock this at your will :)
 
This happens in random races at random times. I had it happen during the Fuji FGT race, but other then that it hasn't done me any major damage
