A-Spec Indy 500 Endurance

Me and my friend are doing the a spec Indy 500 endurance race. We just took our first pit stop...and took a really long time, is that normal? I think it was a bout a minute. We did have like a 2 lap lead...so any advice on the whole race or pit stopping would be great
 
Did you refuel? If so then that is your answer. Refueling = Time (roughly 1 min as you stated hence my response)
 
Ok that makes sense.
As for tires, which should I use?
 
Race Softs, since PD made them all last for the same time.
 
Also be prepared to do this race 4 or 5 times to get enough exp points to move on.
 
My record time in the Formula GT is around 2 hrs 17min. The most boring 2hours 17m of my life. And you have to do it a bunch of times. My X2010 is now un-driveable at those speeds due to high miles. But I'm sure it'd go under 1:55.
 
Refuelling is always slower in lap based endurance race opposed to time based endurance races.
