Come back to GT after 8 months off. Was unsure where my skill level lies, so on an A spec race I selected my car to match the best PP and BHP of an AI driver.

Miles ahead by end of first lap. So if I use a car with much less PP/BHP etc will I be rewarded with more point/money? I think i read this is how the seasonals work (did I imagine that or did I read it?), just wondering if its the same for single player.

It's been so long since I have played Single Player that I can't be 100% certain, but I believe that the increased money and points only applies to seasonals

No the bonus for lower PP does not apply to A-spec or B-spec races. The log-in bonus (up to 200%) applies to all races.👍

Ok cheers both for clearing that up. Will still lower my PP so i struggle a bit. Really want to get a spec out the way but need to enjoy it on the way dont I? 4/5 laps leading is ZzzZzzZZ

If you're looking for a challenge then try the seasonals at lower PP. Many of them make you work for a win especially with restricted tires, but the payouts can be huge & the prize cars are top notch. 👍:)

The lower PP bonus applies solely to the Seasonal Events specifically marked.

If you're looking to farm money easily, get an Evo IV - Go to the 4WD seasonal - Le Sarthe - detune to 420-25PP and cut the corners.

I normally wouldn't condone corner cutting but it's 1.4 mil for 9 minutes of work so *shrugs*

That's a good technique thanks for the tip. Currently got 16 million from grafting a spec, but I'm about to spend that on an F1 2007!
