sorry but this question is a little rhetorical...

how the hell do you get decent a-spec points on the hyundai race?

the only purchaseable car is the coupe. run it stock and its only 60 points! bit of a bore that one... glad its outta the way :)
 
You could try fitting N grade tyres (N1 would give the most points, N3 would give the easiest race of the N grade tyres) and add some ballast (in the settings screen)
 
You can get 176 maximum for this series: N1s, 200kg and old oil. It is one of those races known to be a PITA and one I have not yet done.
 
alway thought pita was a type of bread :p
